Music U Class Host Policy

Thank you for hosting a Music U Class in your home! To ensure that you and your child get the most effective and creative teaching experience possible, we have established this policy:

MISSION:

Our mission is to create a learning environment that instills the joy of learning music, playing music, and making music in any person at any age while establishing a foundation for lifelong growth and learning.

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the host, you are responsible for

  • Providing a consistent location for Music U classes with adequate space for the number of attendees and their parent(s) to dance and move around in the space. The space should be clean, clear of large furniture, and free from any choking hazards.

  • Inviting at least 2 other children to participate in the class on a weekly basis. Classes require a minimum of 3 children.

  • Informing participants about details of the first class.

  • Arranging for an alternate location should your home not be available for class for any reason.

Note: If your home will not be available for an upcoming class, please inform your teacher and info@musicunashville.com at least 2 weeks in advance. You have the option of arranging another location (within Nashville city limits) for the class. If another location is not available, the class is canceled without refunds or credits to subscription-based participants.

CLASSES:

Your first trial class is free! All participants joining your class will be required to sign our “Class Participant Policy Agreement” prior to class. After the free trial, all attendees will have the option to sign up for the Music U Class subscription, billed monthly.

Classes are offered weekly throughout the year for ages 2-5. They are 30 minutes in length and will typically include:

  • Singing

  • Dancing

  • Playing with percussion instruments

  • Storytime with a book that supports the monthly theme.

Each class follows the Music U calendar of monthly themes. If you would like to stay up to date on our themes, please subscribe to our class newsletter here.
